Whether you’re taking on the 13.1-mile challenge for the first time or you’ve already logged a few half marathons, the key to a strong finish on race day for any runner is a solid training program that focuses on injury prevention, fast recovery, and motivational support. Keeping these factors in mind over the course of 12 weeks and 24 runs, Karna Fitness' interval run/walk program prepares female runners to cruise through Boston during the Run to Remember on 5/27 or breeze along the scenic seaside course of Cape Ann’s YuKanRun half marathon on 8/5.

Two group runs per week will supplement your individual training. A shorter run during the week will keep you motivated, and you’ll build up your mileage on the long Saturday morning runs. Race registration is not included with your training program; the Run to Remember registration is $55 until 4/15 and the YuKanRun registration is $45.
