Comfort awaits at Governor's Island
Glamping (glam camping) is for Real Housewives and really snobby bears. For a high-class trip with an outdoorsy feel, we prefer today’s travel deal: $999 for a three-day, two-night lakefront vacation rental on prestigious Governor's Island on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire (worth $1,599).
The house sleeps eight and is a quick two-hour drive from Boston. Reservations are available from the third weekend in September to the third weekend in November, please select your dates at checkout and then call the landlord to confirm.
