Sailing is a skill that is sure to impress a boss or a father-in-law, similar to speaking French, golfing, and pool handstands. Make a splash with today’s deal from Courageous Sailing in Charlestown: $575 for a 24-hour Basic Keelboat class and a two-month membership, including daily access to 25 19’ boats (worth $1,150). Courageous Sailing does not require the US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification for membership, but you will be eligible to take the exam after your class for an additional fee.
- Keelboat classes are offered through 10/1/12; classes must be taken over two consecutive weekends
- Two-month membership begins at the conclusion of class; if two months are not finished by 10/31/12, remaining time on membership will resume starting 5/1/13

- Graduates of the course are eligible to take the US Sailing Basic Keelboat exam and receive the US Sailing's Basic Keelboat certification for $75

- Please note that class schedules are fixed, and it is not possible to reschedule part of a class
- Hours missed can be made up as private lessons for an additional fee of $45/hour. Refunds are not available
